The value for money at Wabi was great. The room had curtains on the beds, plugs and lights for every bed, and even a wifi router in every room. The location was perfect, right by the beach and surrounded by lively restaurants and hotels. The staff, especially Julio at reception, were incredibly friendly and even helped carry my heavy luggage upstairs. I would definitely come back to Wabi for the chill vibe and great service.
The hotel's breakfast menu could be improved. While the breakfast included eggs and toast, there was often a long wait for the eggs as there was always a line.

The location of Wabi was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything. We were just a short walk away from 5th avenue, the beach, and the bus station. It made exploring Playa del Carmen a breeze. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or concerns we had. Their warm welcome made us feel right at home. The terrace where they served breakfast was a lovely spot to start the day. We enjoyed the delicious food while soaking up the sun and planning our adventures. The hostel had a great Wi-Fi connection, which was very convenient for staying connected with loved ones back home and planning our daily activities.
The shared dorms were a bit different from the pictures, but still comfortable enough for our stay. However, it did get quite hot in the rooms and some guests were not mindful of noise levels, making it a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep.

We had a great time at Wabi! The girl behind the reception was really nice and made us feel welcome. The beds with curtains provided a sense of privacy, and the spacious rooms with lockers were a bonus. Pricewise, it was a good deal. The location was central and convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The hostel had good WiFi and the breakfast included hot tea, which was a pleasant surprise. The rooftop was a great place to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Despite a few drawbacks such as the noisy nightlife nearby and limited kitchen facilities, we would still recommend Wabi for budget and solo travelers. we had a positive experience and would consider staying here again.
